You are the best. Pure and heavy from the bottom of your hearts. No one else could be like you.

Lips and Robb.

Wish you all the best.

Hi there, you metal nutters! You are huge here in São Paulo, Brasil!
I could go on how I almost got fired from work when I left for my lunch break and went after a vinyl copy of "Forged In Fire" back in 1985, with only my pocket money and so on and so forth. I saw the movie at last year's São Paulo International Film Festival and I was chilled all over and I laughed and I cried with your stories and dreams of metal stardom. I hope you finally get your long-deserved big break. Keep on rocking!

ps: Slash and his band f**king suck! Instead of praising you, why didn't all these corporate bands give you the money to help you out?

It is beyond me that anvil has not been recognized with the other mid-eighties thrash groups....in my opinion(i have been a metal-head since the early 70's)anvil is a top-rate metal act and i have been listening to their music since 1984 when i bought "metal on metal"
on cassette the same day as i bought "kill 'em all" by metallica...of course i was usually the only one listening to this type of music at the time when i was in college...after listening to "metal on metal" i went out and bought every anvil cassette i could find at the time...in the nineties i got married, became a father, and when times got tough i had to sell off a lot of my heavy metal music collection and my stereo so i kind of lost touch a bit with anvil and their musical paths....my wife passed in 2002 so i had to raise my son as a single dad...it took me until january of 2005 to finally get back to re-building my heavy metal music collection...by that time all of my 80's cassettes had given out from old age and would not play anymore....i got on e bay and started to rebuild my metal collection....the first group i started replacing was my anvil collection, which i did so in about a months time...the bottom line is that anvil always deserved to be placed in the top of the thrash metal movement and should have profited from that over the years...their music is top-notch thrash metal....i hope that this film boosts their popularity and gives them the financial independence that they deserve...their music has always and will always kick ass....

Hello guys! Writing from England. Saw the film a couple of weeks ago and loved it. I remember reading about you when i first starting listening to metal in the late 80s and finding out about Donington in 82 and then hadn"t heard much about you since. Watching the film was very inspiring and heartwarming. When i saw that the book was coming out i ordered it straight away. It came in the post yesterday and i have read it cover to cover alreasdy. the success you are having with the filom is long overdue and i hope it continues as you deserve it. I will be there supporting you at Download in June! Coming back to the spiritual home of metal at Donington after 27 years!! By the way, it was a real thrill seeing my hometown of Chippenham mentioned in the book and hearing that you played here with Motorhead in 1983. Sadly that venue Goldiggers was demolished a few years ago. Liek you say in the film, music lives forever and people never forget. keep rocking guys!
